* The fine print:
- By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to allow Forest Door Co., Inc. to use their name, photo, and installation images for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media and marketing materials.
- To be eligible to win, the participant must reside within Forest Door’s service area.
- The installation must take place at a single-family, owner-occupied residence. Rental properties do not qualify.
- The existing garage door must operate with torsion springs and have a 15″ track radius. A minimum 9” of side room is required and a working electrical outlet must be installed within 6 feet of where the opener will be mounted.
- Installation includes the removal of the existing garage door opener and the professional installation of a new garage door opener provided by Forest Door Co.
- All removed equipment and materials will be hauled away by Forest Door Co.
- If additional work is required to make the opener compatible. Such as, but not limited to, installation of 15″ radius tracks or torsion springs, these services will incur additional charges.
- The installation comes with a 1-year parts and labor warranty on the newly installed opener.
- This warranty does not cover any existing garage door system components, including the door, tracks, springs, or other hardware not replaced during the giveaway installation.
- If the winner’s current garage setup does not meet the requirements for installation, the opener will still be awarded, but Forest Door Co. will not perform installation. In such a case, the winner may choose to use, gift, or donate the product as they wish.
