Some things to consider are the overall shape of the other door sections, the age of the door, and the condition of the door’s hardware. We find that if you need more than one section, a new door may be a better option. But, if you have more than one door at your property, replacing a bad bottom section may be an economical solution. Forest will provide you with all the information that you need to make an informed decision that you feel good about.
For steel door replacement sections there is a good chance we may have the section you need in stock at our warehouse if you originally purchased the door from us. When it comes to steel door sections, the more information we can obtain about your existing door the better. While it may seem that you need a “standard” section, there is no such thing. At a minimum we will need to know the section width, height, door manufacturer, door model or design.
